I believe most product problems are not design problems. They're clarity problems. My job is to help teams understand what they're building, why it matters, and how to make it obvious to the people using it.

I like being involved early, when the problem is still messy. The work gets more interesting when there isn't a clear answer yet and the team has to figure it out together.

I've spent the last five years working on complex products in fintech and AI. A lot of that time has been translating complicated systems, workflows, and data into experiences that people can understand and trust.

Usually somewhere between product, design, and engineering or wherever there is ambiguity.
